Windward Aviation First Maintenance and Operations Clinic (KLNA) - Non-SEBS

Windward Aviation announces its first maintenance and operations Clinic. Jim and Reese Leach of Windward Aviation have selected a Wednesday for this event to avoid the Presidential TFRs that halt operations at their airport during winter weekends. They intend to make a contribution to the ABS Air Safety Foundation as part of the clinic.

Date: Wednesday, February 21, 2018 (Bad Weather Day: February 22)

Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Place: Windward Aviation on the Lantana Airport (KLNA)

Fee: $60.00 per person
(One third of fee to be distributed to the winner of a drawing of those in attendance, one third to the ABS Air Safety Foundation, and one third for food expenses. Drawing to be held at the ice cream social.)

• Demonstration inspection of a Beechcraft Bonanza
  
• Learn what to look for on a Bonanza/Baron. Inspection to be performed by Windward Aviation in accordance with ABS Maintenance Clinic guidelines.

• Presentation: “Understanding Hypoxia” by Fred Furgang MD, BPPP Flight Instructor
  

1:00 PM

• Tour of Palm Beach Aircraft Propeller
  
• Palm Beach Aircraft Propeller is a factory service center for both Hartzell and McCauley propellers. See for yourself how a propeller is repaired and overhauled.
  

2:00 PM

• Presentation: “How to be a Better Aircraft Owner” by Jim and Reese Leach, owners of Windward Aviation
  
• A presentation on caring for your Beech Aircraft. Lots of tips based on maintaining hundreds of Bonanzas, Debonairs, Travel Airs, and Barons for the past 19 years.
