Mobile Alabama/SEBS & SWBS Combined Fly-In (KBFM)
March 26–29, 2026 | 3 Nights Mobile, Alabama
For this amazing event, we are partnering with the Southwest Bonanza Society (SWBS) for a three-night trip to Mobile, Alabama. A highlight of the trip will be a tour and presentation at Continental Aerospace Technologies. Space is limited, so we are requesting only pilots register for this portion of the event. SWBS and SEBS each have a limit event registration of 25. For the Continental tour each regional group has a limit of 12.

Thursday, March 26
Please plan to arrive at KBFM between 2:00–3:00 p.m. CST
After arrival, we will head to the hotel. Take time to get settled, then meet in the hotel lobby at 6:15 p.m. for a one-block walk to T.P. Crockmier's for a casual group dinner, an easy way to get to know fellow members. After dinner, we’ll gather in the Hilton Garden Inn bar to continue visiting.
Friday, March 27
- Breakfast: On your own (hotel restaurant or nearby options)
After breakfast, those registered for the Continental Aerospace Technologies tour and presentations will board vans and head to the facilities. This experience will likely occupy most of the day.
For those not attending the tour, enjoy a free day exploring Historic Downtown Mobile. The Hilton Garden Inn is centrally located nearby:

Friday evening:
Enjoy dinner on your own at one of the many downtown restaurants or via Uber. After dinner, meet up in the Hilton Garden Inn bar to continue the camaraderie with other regional members.
Saturday, March 28
Meet in the hotel lobby at 9:30 a.m. to head to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, which includes:
- USS Alabama Battleship
- Aircraft Pavilion
- Tanks & Artillery
- USS Drum, oldest American submarine on public display
Admission (paid individually at the gate):
- General: $18
- Age 55+: $15
Lunch: Stevie’s Kitchen is located on-site for an enjoyable midday meal.
We’ll return to the hotel around 3:00 p.m.
Saturday evening:
We will head out for a nice group dinner at the Trellis Room, just 2 blocks away. After dinner, gather once again at the Hilton Garden Inn to relax and visit—there’s a good chance airplanes and flying will come up in conversation at least once!
Sunday, March 29
Grab breakfast on your own before heading back to the airport for departures. Departure times to be determined.
